Microbial Genomic context Viewer

MGcV is an interactive visalization tool for comparative genome analysis. Create comparative context maps based on:
  • any set of genes
  • blast results
  • phylogenetic trees
  • regulatory elements

New: CiVi: Circular Visualization for microbial genomes

CiVi is an easy-to-use tool to create custom circular genome maps. Create custom circular maps and include data such as:
  • sequence properties
  • COG annotation
  • quantative gene-data (e.g. rna-seq)
  • regulatory elements

MGV2.0 discontinued, new tools available

Dear MGV2.0 user,

MGV has been discontinued. We have developed two new web-applications in which all MGV functionality has been maintained and new functionality has been added.
The MGcV (Microbial Genomic context Viewer) is an interactive visualization tool for comparative genome analysis, whereas CiVi (Circular Visualization for microbial genomes) can be used to create custom circular genome maps. In both tools all microbial RefSeq genomes are available.
